If you have been charged with a crime, then you need an experienced criminal defense attorney. Mark Kraynak has over eleven years of criminal law and criminal trial practice experience. During this time, he has represented clients charged with such crimes as drug possession, drug manufacturing, drug distribution, and drug trafficking; as well as the drug-related offenses of money laundering and asset forfeiture; internet and computer-related crimes like child porn, internet pharmacy and identity theft; white-collar crimes; violent crimes such as murder, domestic violence and armed robbery; sex crimes including rape, child molestation, & child porn, and DUI/DWI.

Constitutional Right to Remain Silent

Don't talk to anyone about your criminal case or criminal investigation except your criminal defense lawyer. This includes friends, family members, and cell mates.

You have a constitutional right to remain silent. In all criminal cases, this right should be invoked. Never allow yourself to be interviewed or questioned by law enforcement. The police are not going to go easy on you if you cooperate with them and let them interview you. The sole purpose of police interrogation is to marshal evidence in order to convict the suspect.  The police may try to trick you by suggesting that it "won't look good" if you refuse to cooperate with them and talk.  Don't be misled:  the fact that you invoked your constitutional right to remain silent can not be admitted as evidence against you in any prosecution.
